SATA and MC elements are different but they should be styled the same so a customer can use both in the same experience and have a sleek design from start to finish that is 100% on brand for them.
Problem: It's come to my attention twice now that the default of a gray background when a MC response is selected is not ideal.
In particular, if a customer is using image buttons and they upload unique image assets for the 'normal' state and 'selected' state, their style is interfered by the gray background on the MC element.
The SATA element is clean so the MC element should be modeled after the SATA element selected state. When you click on a SATA image button then you do not see a defaulted gray background on the other options in the form. MC elements should work just like this to give our clients full style control.
