We have a recurring issue with Clients who will have 2 separate Opt-in Fields, and by default our system will map the same Opt-in attribute to both, which is not correct behavior and should be considered somewhat of a bug given how this ruins our data quality.
This makes it impossible to determine which users selected which Opt-in, causing many headaches down the road particularly with integrations.
Opt-ins are very sensitive data points to Clients so we would should certainly prioritize this.
I suggest that we add in a default attribute "Marketing Opt-in" or something similar, that when 2 Opt-in check boxes are used in a screen, we map "Opt-in" to the first instance, and "Marketing Opt-in" to the second instance.
