Darn Tough (former Octane user) wants the ability to exclude tags at the pathway level. Below is the scenario that they outlined:
Being able to exclude tags for specific paths is still high on the wish list. An example of this would be with our Snow socks with cushion in the shin. We have three options for cushion profiles for ski socks: No Cushion, Cushion Underfoot, and Cushion Underfoot and in Shin. Because the socks that have Cushion in Shin are tagged as having this feature but are also tagged as having Cushion Underfoot, meaning that they show up in the just Cushion Underfoot path as well. As it is now, there is no way to exclude products with non-mutually exclusive tags and leads to results ranging from imprecise to incorrect in some instances
They informed me that they had some option like this with Octane.
